Tom Tardif

CELEBRANT

We first met Tom at the naming ceremonies we conducted for his two boys Archie and Zach. Tom was very involved in the ceremony and wrote some lovely words on parenthood which he read on both occasions. When he expressed an interest in becoming a celebrant we knew he would be a great asset to our team. 

Tom is a confident public speaker and was a Guernsey Press photographer for many years, prior to joining the Finance Industry. Tom even snapped a wedding or two in his time and so his eye for detail and skills in communication are evident in his capacity as a Celebrant. Now on the other side of the camera, Tom was amongst the first of Guernsey's Civil Celebrants to be officially sworn-in and has been conducting Weddings and Naming Ceremonies with White Dove for the past three years.

Tom was so personal with our story, he really captured our relationship and was able to relay that in a perfectly fitting story to our guests. He was empathetic with our nerves, kind and friendly and reassured us both throughout the build up, rehearsal and our wedding day.

We could not have asked for more from Tom, he was truly brilliant.
