Sophie fell into the role of a celebrant rather accidentally after a close friend asked herto“officiate”their ceremony back in 2021. A few more friends then asked and Sophiedecided to pursue the role more formally;and approached Jayne as she had officiatedat Sophie’s own wedding in 2012. She was officially sworn in by His Majesty's Greffierin 2023. Sophie is the newest addition to the White Dove team and loves workingwith people and helping them to achieve a fun and memorable wedding day.Sophiebalances her professional career, her family and Whitedove ceremonies andwhen she finds the time, she enjoyssea swimming all year round.

Starting from the first conversation back in 2018 to the ceremony happening in Sept 2023 our experiencewith White Dove has only ever been exceptional.Nothing was ever too much or questions to silly, their kind supporting nature made every interactionenjoyable. We were lucky to have Sophie Yabsley conduct our ceremony, from our first meeting shemade us feel very relaxed and comfortable with the approach and plan for the day. From providing helpwith our vows,walking through the rehearsal and the dayitself, she made everything flow and made usfeel at ease about the whole process. On the day Sophie was there to help and support Warren who isnot comfortable speaking in public and there with a smiling face when I arrived to keep me calm and feelvery much at ease. The service was beautiful and would highly recommend White Dove and Sophiepersonally to anyone looking for a celebrant for their big day
